Emily Seate, a published author since 1994, is nationally known for her five books with Milbra Long on the Fostoria Glass Company. Collector Books (Paducah, Kentucky) will release a second edition of Fostoria Stemware in 2008. Since 2005, she has produced three novels and a poetry book through Webeus House, with a new novel coming in 2009.
Educated in Texas with a masters from Texas Christian University, Emily has presented seminars in California, Oregon, West Virginia, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas. Her HeartMind Chronicles, a series of four novels, combine myth, ancient history, fantasy and spirituality in page-turning prose. Ah-Mah, the first novel in the series, introduces ancient Egypt before the pharaohs, the invention of treating feet to heal the body, dolphin dreaming, Atlantis and Mu. The White Crown expands the story to include the first King of the South, often called “Scorpion.” The Power of Dreaming moves the story to the 21st Century and explores dolphin myth and the Disease of Disconnection. HeartMind concludes the Chronicles, revealing an ancient Atlantean secret long protected by the redwoods of Northern California.
